Year 7 and Year 8 Technology Mandatory Textile

Year 7 and Year 8 Technology Mandatory Textile students have completed their second rotation in the Materials – Textiles unit. Students focused on applying both hand and machine sewing techniques to construct a bag. The use of a second-hand item of clothing from home was cut and re-used to creatively enhance the aesthetics of their bag by way of a pocket.

Students also had the opportunity to create and construct a juggling chook, further enhancing their sewing techniques.

You can see by their smiles this was a fun module.
