Year 7 Visual Arts

During Term 3, the Year 7 art students have been extremely engaged in the designing and producing of their clay Anamorphic Creatures. The students have learnt many skills in ceramics including the making of pinch pots, joining techniques and now they are starting to add careful surface textures and patterns. This unit challenged Year 7 students to morph two or more animals or insects together to create a new species. The Anamorphic Creatures will be fired in our school kiln and then the final stage of painting on glazes will complete this sculptural task.

We look forward to seeing these Anamorphic Creatures really come to life with colour next term.
