Principal's Message
CALLBACK Success
Congratulations to Year 11 student, Hannah Jennings, who has been selected to perform in “Callback 2022” for two of her nominations in HSC Dance. Hannah has been selected, from over 650 students, to perform her Core Composition and Core Performance piece in Sydney early in 2023. Our 2023 Year 11 Dance students will be able to watch her perform when they go to Sydney for their Senior Creative Arts excursion in February.
Well done, Hannah. The first SJRC student to perform in “Callback”!
Year 12 Graduation Dinner
I sincerely thank the many staff who were involved in setting up and packing up the Year 12 Graduation Dinner held at Port Panthers last Saturday evening. In particular, thank you to Mrs Tracy Pares, for the amazing coordination of the decorations on the evening; Tracy along with the Graduation Decorations committee truly transformed the auditorium into a spectacular space.
To Mrs Kellie Croft, Year 12 Leader of Student Wellbeing, thank you, for your guidance and support of our Year 12 students during their senior studies and for your organisation of all the end-of-year celebrations for Year 12.
The real stars of the evening were our Year 12 cohort who gathered for the final time in celebration of their 13 years of schooling. Year 12, you will forever hold a special place in the hearts and minds of the staff and current students of St Joseph's Regional College. You should certainly be proud of the fact that you are celebrating your graduation after many years of challenges and changes. Year 12 you have certainly displayed your character strengths and as a result, flourished as individuals.
We wish you, Year 12, all the very best as you journey forward, whether you are heading to university, working or taking a gap year, may you always remember the words of our College prayer...
'May the lessons of our school days prepare us for the challenges of tomorrow".

Transgrid Relocation Work - 24th -27th November
Possible disruption to traffic.
Next Thursday 24th - Sunday 27th November, transmission line cutover works will be occurring between existing structures on the land adjoining the College. Cranage is required to do these works and needs to be located on the side of the road on the eastern side of the small bridge. Traffic disruption may occur and traffic control may be in place. Please keep this in mind if you are arriving for Aladdin Jr performances or if you are dropping children to perform in Aladdin Jr.
