Christmas Hamper Appeal
We invite families to enter into the real spirit of Christmas, the spirit of giving to others. At school, each of our Pastoral Care groups will be collecting goods to make up a Christmas Hamper for families within our Parish who are in need of assistance. This year, as we do every year, our College will support 20 families through the Christmas Hamper Appeal. This is a real opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives and it’s a real pleasure to see the joy on other's faces when they receive a hamper unexpectedly.
Your child/children may ask you for items to support our Christmas Hamper Appeal! Below is a list of items that are suggestions. A typical family may be made up of a Mother and Father, 2 sons and 2 daughters of varying ages from 18 downwards or, a Mother and four kids.
Hamper Items
- Christmas Cake Biscuits(Sweet/Savoury) Shortbread Sweets/Chocolates
- Pavlova Base Fruit mince pies Nuts/Chips Custard/Tin Fruit

Hampers will include a gift for each member of the family eg. a game or toy matched to the age and sex of the child, aftershave, perfume, jewellery or chocolates for adults.
We also suggest that you could include your ‘adopted family’ in your prayers during Advent & Christmas. Ask your child about the family their PC is supporting.
