Principal's Message
School Improvement
At St Joseph’s Regional College, we are committed to improving the learning and wellbeing outcomes of each student in our care while fostering individual faith development.
Our 2023 Annual School Improvement Plan has been informed by data collected and developed by our staff to capture the explicit improvement agenda to be lived out in the College.
We will undergo a formal school review in 2024, and we will engage in a collaborative process of developing a three Year Strategic Improvement Plan after the review.
Next term, students, parents and staff will be asked to complete a survey, “Tell Them From Me”, that will assist us in determining how well we are meeting the needs of our students and families.

Principal's Awards
Each term, students who have earnt a Principal's Award are presented with their certificate at an assembly. This week, I had the pleasure of presenting 30 certificates to students who have consistently been working towards their goals and contributing to the spirit of the College.
At St Joseph's Regional College, we have a tiered system for merits. The Merit System provides regular positive reinforcement to students who do good work or put in a lot of effort. It also provides parents with feedback on work and effort of special merit.
To earn a Principal's Award:
- Merit Awards are earned through effort and commitment, and are designed to provide students with regular positive reinforcement.
- Pastoral Coordinator’s Award is presented to a student once they have received five Merit Awards.
- Principal’s Award is presented at a College assembly when a student has received five Pastoral Coordinator’s Awards.
Congratulations to the following students:
Byron Alchin |
Peyton Harris |
