ANZAC Day March - Tuesday 25th April 2023
At this week's assembly, students heard about the importance of ANZAC Day and acknowledging the sacrifice of all Australians and New Zealanders involved in wars on the 25th of April. One of the important ways in which we can pay our respects on this day is by attending an ANZAC service, or by marching on the day.
Our College has always had a strong representation at local marches, and it is with the hope that this tradition will continue this year at the following locations:
- Port Macquarie
- Wauchope
- Laurieton
It is also a proud time for the members of the SAPSS Drumline who will perform and march at Port Macquarie.
As a College, we are proud of our tradition of engaging with community events. This is one of those opportunities where we can participate in service to our community, which will be recognised and contribute to students community service hours.
How do students get involved?
If you would like to join this march, please give your name to your Leader of Wellbeing, to Mr Bushe or to the office, over the next week. A permission email containing more details will be sent home in the last week of the term.
We look forward to seeing a large number of community members marching on this day.
