Bill Turner Soccer - Round 2
In early May, the SJRC Boys Bill Turner Soccer team contested Round 2 of the statewide competition against St Paul's College Kempsey.
Our boys started very strongly with an early goal and only grew in confidence from there. The team displayed excellent team work combining on a number of occasions to find the back of the net. The score finished an impressive 7-2 win to SJRC which advances our team to Round 3 against MacKillop College.

Unfortunatley, our Bill Turner Girls team were not so lucky. After receiving the Bye in Round 1, the girls came up against an evenly matched team from SCAS.
Although 0-0 for the majority of the match and a missed penalty by us, the team eventually walked away with a 1-0 loss. As a young side, there is plenty of opportunity for growth and improvement in 2025.
