2024 Diocesan Golf Championships

Diocesan Golf

On Monday 11th of November, Peyton Berry and Lukas Everson travelled to South West Rocks to compete in the Lismore Diocesan Golf Championships. Our students were accompanied by team coach Mr Berger and manager Miss Smith.

The tournament utilised a stableford scoring procedure and began with a shotgun start. Having previously hosted a NSW Open Qualifying event, the greens were fast and the course was in top condition.

Congratulations to Peyton Berry for taking out the Girls Net Score division.

The day was particularly special for past SJRC student Billy Gleeson who shot a hole in one on the Par 4 6th hole. Statistically a 1 in 6 million chance event.
