The Story of Three Brothers Mountains

In collaboration with the National Museum of Australia's exhibition marking the 250th anniversary of Captain Cook's voyage to Australia, This Place: View From the Shore focuses on the history and culture of Indigenous communities along Australia's east coast.

We encourage you to take a few moments to view the clip 'Three Brothers Mountains' ABC iview clip (Time: 3m 40s) The story is told by local Birpai Elder, Marian Holten and her granddaughter, Nardja Carter. They tell the mythology story of the Three Brothers Mountains located here on the Mid North Coast. This story was used as a teaching tool and passed down through generations.

Macquarie University - Applications are OPEN for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Entry Pathway (ATSIEP)

Last year I had the pleasure of accompanying four of our Year 10 & 11 students to Sydney for the four day program and it was fabulous! Even though this program will be a little different due to the Corona Virus, it is not one to miss!

Applications are closing next Friday, 15th May for The University of Sydney Bunga Barrabugu Winter Program.

Take a look at the following link for further information.

If you need help with the application or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask either Mrs Tinsey or myself.
