News in Brief
Year 8 South West Rocks Camp
What an incredible week Year 8 has experienced at Arakoon National Park!
Students showed fantastic spirit, resilience and perseverance, despite some challenging weather and exhausting days. Year 8 supported each other through bushwalking, kayaking, surfing, orienteering and a number of cultural experiences. They learned valuable outdoor skills and, most importantly, strengthened their bonds as a cohort.
A sincere thank you to Mr John Rossington (Leader of PDHPE), Ms Heidi O'Reilly (Leader of Student Wellbeing) and the entire camp staff whose dedication made this experience such a resounding success.
HSC Exams
We want to extend our continued and enthusiastic best wishes to all of our Year 12 students as they enter their final week of exams next week. This is the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and growth. We are incredibly proud of the commitment they have shown throughout the exam period and the resilience they’ve demonstrated. We encourage them to remain focused and positive as they approach the finish line.
Crazy Sock Day Initiative
Crazy Sock Day is this Friday, November 7th, to raise money for Catholic Mission Month.
Catholic Mission is the Pope’s international Mission agency. It's an organization that partners with communities, helping them to flourish by supporting grassroots projects, including healthcare, education, and spiritual care.
We will be supporting this initiative by wearing crazy socks on Friday! All you have to do is bring a gold coin donation on the day. We ask that PCs take a photo together for the chance to win a hot chip lunch!
On this same day, we will also be selling milkshakes at recess for $4ea from the servery in C block.
