Welcome to our special edition newsletter to honour our new Year 7 2023 students and families who attended the College for their Orientation Day today.
My sincere thanks to Assistant Principal - Pastoral Care, Mrs Jennifer Furney, Leader of Student Wellbeing - Year 7, Mr Chris Kalchbauer, Pastoral Care and subject teachers, and our incredible administration staff for their organisation of today's program.
Here at St Joseph's Regional College, we have sensational staff and a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Year 9 student leaders. This group of fine young men and women have volunteered their time to assist and support our new Year 7 students today and have also given up one day of their Christmas holidays to come in earlier to offer peer support and be a friendly and familiar face for our newest students. I would also like to thank Ms Cheryl Hyde for her work in coordinating the leaders.

Year 7 2023, thank you for joining us today and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 31st January for the Positive Partnership Interviews and in your new school uniforms on Wednesday 1st February for your first day of secondary schooling.

Remembrance Day 11th November 2022
Thank you to our College Vice Captains, Luke Squire and Hannah Jennings attended the RSL Commemoration in Port Macquarie whilst the remainder of the College participated in a commemoration service in classes led by our College Captains, Findlay Marshall and Sarah Garrett. One minute of silence was respectively observed at 11:00am by College staff and students.
